Itinerary

North Island: 7 days / 6 nights - Auckland to Auckland (seasonal only Jun - Sep)

Day 1: Auckland

You will be met by our local representative for a private transfer to your hotel in the city. Explore Auckland's city afternoon, or head out for into the fantastic restaurants and nightlife on offer.

Day 2: Auckland - Mt Ruapehu

Your rental car will be dropped off to you before heading South stopping at the fascinating Waitomo Glow Worm Caves before continuing onto Whakapapa Village on Mt Ruapehu where you will be based for your ski/snowboard holiday.

Day 3-5: Mt Ruapehu

Ski & Snowboard for the next 3 days at Whakapapa or drive the to Turoa on the South Western Slopes of Mt Ruapehu for a change or explore the Tongariro National Park.

Day 6: Mt Ruapehu - Auckland

Drive onto Taupo around New Zealand's largest lake. After exploring Taupo, take up the exhillerating rush of the Hukafalls jet boat ride on the Waikato river to the foot of the Huka Falls. In afternoon the take a leisurely drive back to Auckland through the farming capital of the North Island, the Waikato region.

Day 7: Auckland

*After check out from the hotel your arrangements conclude with the return of your rental car to the airport or depot. * Those taking the Deluxe Superior category will drive to Hillside Hotel 1 hour south of Auckland in Huntly before driving straight to the airport or depot from there.
