Itinerary

South Island: 7 days / 6 nights - Christchurch to Christchurch

Day 1: Christchurch

Arrive in Christchurch and be met by our local representative and shown to your rental car before driving to your hotel for a night in the city.

Day 2: Christchurch - Dunedin

Your scenic drive through one of the world's most beautiful trails begins with a drive to the town of Timaru. You will have time to explore a bit around the city, have an al fresco lunch, and head on to the enchanting Dunedin to stay for the night. Walk up the world's steepest street and in the evening enjoy wonderful dining at one of the many restaurants.

Day 3: Dunedin - Invercargill - Queenstown

A leisurely morning for you, as you drive the scenic route to Queenstown, through one of the world's southern-most cities, Invercargill. Plan to arrive Invercargill around lunch time, for a break. Continue your journey onto the adventure capital of New Zealand, Queenstown for two nights.

Day 4: Queenstown

Today you have a huge range of activities to choose from. From jet boating, bungy jumping, golfing, paragliding to shopping, Queenstown has it all.

Day 5: Queenstown - Aoraki / Mt Cook - Lake Tekapo

This morning you will head up north towards Aoraki/Mt Cook, New Zealands tallest mountain. After viewing the magnificent Southern Alps, head back to Lake Tekapo, where you will be spending the night.

Day 6: Lake Tekapo - Christchurch

A leisurely drive back from Lake Tekapo this morning will see you arrive in Christchurch around lunch time. Spend the afternoon visiting more of Christchurch's sights.

Day 7: Christchurch

After checking out from the hotel, your tour arrangements conclude with the return of your rental car to the airport or depot.
