Itinerary

North Island: 7D /6N (Auckland to Auckland)

Day 1: Auckland

Arrive in Auckland and meet by our representative and transferred to the Auckland city by tour car. In the afternoon discover what is on offer in New Zealand largest city, from Kelly Tarltons Under Water World and Antarctic Experience, to all the fantastic shopping, pubs and restaurants.

Day 2: Auckland

In the morning you rental car will be dropped off to your hotel you will head out to the wild west coast beach of Murawai to play the links course located there. This course is very natural with no encroaching buildings or traffic and only the sounds of nature to contend with. The course is runs along the beach edge with spectacular views from the rolling fairways. Drive back to Auckland for the evening.

Day 3: Auckland - Taupo

Today you will drive south to Lake Taupo through the scenic countryside of the central North Island. Once settled into your hotel, explore the lake and sights of Taupo, especially the awesome Huka Falls.

Day 4: Taupo

Today you will play the Wairakei International Golf Course, and championship course, which is ranked as one of the top 20 golf courses in the world. This is a challenging course located in the centre of the Wairakei Tourist Park. In the evening try out one of Taupo’s bars or restaurants to cap off a hard day on the golf course.

Day 5: Taupo – Rotoura - Tauranga

Take a short drive, as no trip is complete in the North Island without visiting the geothermal wonderland, which is Rotorua. Visit the geothermal and cultural centre Te Puia and look around the city before continuing on for quick driven onto the port town of Tauranga. Take in a meal and one of the very popular restaurants in the centre of town.

Day 6: Tauranga - Auckland

An early start today with a drive over the bridge to the surf capital of New Zealand, Mt Maunganui for a round of golf at the Mt Maunganui Golf Club. This championship Par 72, 6082 metre course offers challengers to all levels of golfers. If the afternoon drive back north to Auckland for the evening for an evening cruise and dinner onboard the Pride of Auckland.

Day 7: Auckland

After check out from the hotel your arrangements conclude with the return of your rental car to the airport or depot.
